The new driver may not even solve the problem, but it's a process of elimination unless someone knows of an alternative solution? Installing this outdated DisplayLink driver will not solve problems on something we have nothing to do with. It is important that the operating system is compatible when installing the driver. DisplayLink technology is not in this dock. You won't be able to install these drivers on most of the recent Windows 10 installs. The vga output and network connection is working normally from the station exactly as the old laptop however none of the 4 usb ports will recognize the same external keyboard that was working earlier this morning with the old laptop ion the station. I feel like there's a 'charge only' setting for that port I'm missing somewhere. Please see this update from our consultant which includes the link to the new 2. One, or both, displays will blink out flash or just go black. I've uninstalled anything that was installed around the time it stopped, to no avail. Since this is your first post, a warm welcome to Spiceworks. The keyboard came back at one point after a reboot, but then dropped out again after logging in. I could not use both displayports on the dock. I then opened the device manager, ran a routine that checked for hardware changes within device manager , where both devices then showed as having no drivers installed. Does anyone know where I can get the drivers for this model station or another suggestion to resolve this issue please? Has there been anything further on this issue? Check that the screen resolution and refresh rate are correctly set. I've done it all, the firmware upgrade, drivers, you name it. Please check immediately if your operating system is compatible. After this, run the downloaded driver file to install and run the installation. We ordered 55 of these and i would say most if not all have monitor population issues.Next
Don't forget to install drivers mentioned under. In both solutions you can use internal screen as third monitor. Product sold without warranty: This product was sold by a reseller. The keyboard works fine plugged in directly to the new laptop. The short answer is that these docks are terrible.

After the drivers installed automatically, the wireless mouse worked. You should not need drivers for the docking station. After completing the download, insert the device into the computer and make sure that the cables and electrical connections are complete. You may update it directly from the DisplayLink web page: Dock the laptop. However, Thunderbolt 3 cable is an active one, that is, it has electric circuits in its connectors.Next
